ICC Commodities is a large supplier of a wide range of commodities and raw materials. Our aim is to be a reliable partner for suppliers and customers alike and support these businesses as they expand and develop.

ICC Commodities is a privately held company, headquartered near London, England with offices in Durban and Cape Town, South Africa.
History
Founded in 2005, ICC Commodities. initially focused on the supply of SABS approved cement to South Africa.
The company opened its office in Durban in 2007 and was soon expanding its operations in South Africa to supply metals & minerals as well as agricultural products.
In 2008 ICC Commodities through its subsidiary IPC cc formed a partnership with Nucoal Mining (Pty) Ltd and began to market its coal products.
In 2009 as a continued expansion of its business in South Africa it opened an office in Cape Town.

Jonathan Erskine

Jonathan has over 15 years experience trading commodities. Born in Durban, South Africa. Jonathan left Durban to form a successful clothing company in Hong Kong and also spent several years in China developing direct relationships with the factories. In China he turned over $15million in the contract and clothing business. In 2001 after leaving china for the UK, he became sales director with a trading company in computer components which is where he met Julian Booth. Within two years he helped increase turnover from £28 million to in excess of £80 million. In 2003 Jonathan left with Julian Booth to form there own IT trading company. In 2007 after becoming aware of a shortage of cement in South Africa ahead of the 2010 World Cup, together they formed a new company ICC Commodities (UK) Ltd.
Julian Booth
Executive Vice President and co-founder

After graduating with a degree in Business Studies, Julian worked for a large IT Distributor. In 1999 he joined another leading IT company trading peripherals. Julian was made a director in his third year with the company and with Jonathan helped increased sales from £28 million to over £80 million. In 2003 along with Jonathan Erskine he left to form Rapid Global Ltd. In 2007 with Jonathan formed ICC Commodities (UK) Ltd with a view to becoming a leading supplier of raw material and commodities.
Pietro Intranova
Director of Trade and Commodity Finance and Risk Mitigation
Location: UK
Pietro has been involved in all areas of trade finance for over 26 years. He has headed up a number of trade finance teams, working within prime banks based in London, where his responsibilities have included marketing clients, structuring deals and arranging/providing trade finance to companies located in the UK and in overseas markets. His experience covers many different commodities and markets including the Middle East and Africa.
Ed Reid
Business Development Europe, Middle East
Location: UK
Ed joined the company in 2009, with his focus on developing sales in Europe and the Middle East. Ed has 25 years experience in sales and marketing of various commodities. Although Ed’s product knowledge is vast he specialises in precious metals.
Chris Tapsell
Business Development Africa
Location: South Africa
Chris is the latest addition to the team. Chris began his career trading commodities, working all across the globe with posts in Hong Kong, UK, Uzbekistan before returning to South Africa. After a huge amount of success developing properties in South Africa. Chris is now utilising his contacts for the sale of raw materials and helping IPC cc increase sales across the whole of Africa
Brad King
Financial and Operations Manager

Brad joined IPC cc right at the beginning of our shipments into South Africa and he has worked his way up to Financial and Operations Manager. Using his degree in commerce along with experience gained in the logistics industry he has seen IPC cc grow from 0 to $30 million turnover inside 2 years, and currently facilitates all IPC's logistical and operational requirements.
Hanlie Liebenberg
Head of Coal Sales South Africa

Hanlie joined IPC cc at the end of 2008 and has helped increase local coal sales in South Africa exponentially. After IPC cc formed a partnership with Nucoal Mining (Pty) Ltd at the end of 2008, Hanlie has helped increase domestic coal sales to 30,000-40,000 MT per month.
